7.0/10

My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The rooms were a decent size for our group, but the noise from the alleyway and early morning building work disrupted my sleep. The drafty windows and disappointing breakfast were a letdown, but the comfy beds and fresh bedding were a saving grace.

The hotel offers a good-sized room that could use some refurbishment, including the windows lacking double glazing. Despite that, I found my stay comfortable and would gladly recommend this hotel to my friends. The bed was nice and cozy, making it a pleasant experience overall.

Service
9.0
I was pleased with the very friendly service and the cleanliness of the room. The location in the city center was a big plus. The staff was accommodating, offering to replenish items if they noticed anything needed or if I asked.
Location
8.0
The location in Central Liverpool was ideal for visiting all attractions. I could easily walk to The Cavern and Albert Dock within minutes. However, I might seek another option if my stay were longer than one night due to some noise until 4 am, considering the early check-out time and the long drive ahead.
Dining
8.0
I had an excellent full English breakfast for £10, which was charged as expected. While I can't comment on other dining options, this meal alone was a great experience.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel charged £10 for the full English breakfast, but it was worth it for the quality. The facilities were well-maintained, and overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Staying on the top floor, my room was really comfortable and quiet, but the carpets need refurbishment. The street view made it rather noisy at night, feeling like a sauna with the heating on.

Rooms
7.0
The room was really comfortable but needs refurbishment, and the noise from the main street was a drawback.
